    ***ATTENTION 8th Grade Families:***

Wednesday, May 29th our 8th graders will have their end of year breakfast and slide show in the morning during 1st and 2nd period.  Additionally, the 8th grade dance will be held during periods 5, 6, and 7.  Eighth grade students are certainly allowed to dress up, but we please ask that students look respectful and that dresses/skirts are at least mid-thigh in length or longer.  Both of these events are free of charge for our fantastic 8th graders!  Don’t forget that school ends at 2:00 p.m. on this day.  Thank you!

REMINDER:  Please have conversations with your child regarding the importance of appropriate use of Social Media and have conversations about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle in light of the district wide issues we're experiencing with students posting inappropriate messages and usage of vapes/juuls.  Below you will find a couple resources to support you in this effort.

    Good evening, 7th Grade Families.

OMS administration is aware and diligently working to ensure the end of the year grades and procedures for Mr. Higgins’ Civics classes are handled correctly. Our team has received calls from some of you and we appreciate your communication. We are in the process now of ensuring students that need make up work receive an opportunity to get that work completed.

We realize due to Mr. Higgins being out the rest of the year, there may be assignments in your student’s portal in which they have not received make up work for or grades are zeros for items turned in, at this point - as I mentioned prior, those opportunities will be given to your student and your student will be held harmless for items turned in that have not been graded.

We will move forward with a consistent substitute, so families will be clear on work expectations and students understand what is due week to week. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call or email and we will be happy to talk about your specific student's concerns.
