The FUSE Program to USF
FUSE is a transfer program between the University of South Florida (USF) and eight Florida State Colleges. This partnership provides seamless academic pathways for students to complete their associate degree, which guarantees admission into specific majors at USF and promotes timely graduation.
There are eight regional Florida College System (FCS) institutions where FUSE students can begin their education for their Associate degree then continue on for their Bachelor's degree from USF:
- College of Central Florida
- Hillsborough Community College
- Pasco Hernando State College
- Polk State College
- St. Petersburg College
- Santa Fe College
- South Florida State College
- State College of Florida

Students who enter the FUSE program will be expected to:
- Have intention of transferring to USF
- Complete an Associates of Arts degree within 3 years and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. By meeting these requirements, students will be guaranteed admission to USF
- Students seeking admission to limited or restrictive access programs will also have to meet additional specific prerequisites such as a higher GPA or test scores. These can be found in strategically designed Graduation Paths.
- Meet regularly with advising at the State or Community College and a USF campus
Graduation Paths are the core of Fuse. They provide a clear, step-by-step plan demonstrating how to complete the AA and Bachelor's degrees in a timely fashion. These pathways are a highly effective tool for all transfer students to utilize in planning the transition. The Ignite Program to FAMU
The FAMU IGNITE Program provides guaranteed general admission to transfer students who obtain their A.A. degree from a Florida Community or State College. To join, you must have no more than 30 college credits earned at the time of submission.
Note: Limited access programs may require additional admissions and prerequisite requirements.
Students who enroll in IGNITE will also have access to transfer student services staff who will guide them through the transfer admissions process. Additionally, IGNITE students will have access to curriculum maps, campus resources and scholarships.

TCC2FSU Program
TCC and FSU created TCC2FSU to help you transfer to FSU and earn a bachelors degree with no loss of time, money, or credit.
TCC2FSU ensures a seamless transfer to FSU with an Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College and then a bachelor's degree from Florida State University. Limited access programs at FSU will have additional admission requirements to be admitted to the specific program.
TCC2FSU Eligibility: Who can join?
Students who intend to complete the A.A. at TCC with an interest in transferring to FSU. The A.A. is a degree that helps students complete the first 60 credits of a bachelor’s program. These must be tailored for intended transfer majors at FSU.Students who have completed 30 credits or less. If you are in high school, your dual enrolled credits count. However, students with more than 30 credits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
