Mid-Term Exam Information
Exam exemption forms will be distributed by the guidance department from December 4 to December 11, 2023.
Only students who meet the eligibility criteria for exam waivers will receive the exemption form. Students must turn in their completed exam exemption forms to the guidance office by 2:15 pm on December 12, 2023. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.
Please note that exam exemptions are not applicable to AP classes, DE classes, AICE classes, or any state-assessed classes.

November-December Testing Calendar
Please see the attached testing calendar for November and December. Students who are to participate in retakes will receive an email invitation from Dr. Rodgers. 9th and 10th grade students will receive more information about FAST Reading PM #2 from their ELA teachers. US Government students will receive more information on the Florida Civic Literacy Exam from their US Government teachers. If you have any questions about the testing schedule, please reach out to your teachers or to Dr. Rodgers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Northeast High School Academies
Are you interested in becoming a Northeast Viking next year by enrolling in one of our four academies? Northeast is the proud home of the Academy of Finance, the Academy of Information Technology, the Culinary Academy, and the Automotive Academy. 8th grade students who are interested in applying for one or more of our programs are invited to shadow up to three academy classes during a partial day visit to Northeast High School. Please also mark your calendars for Northeast's Discovery Night where you can meet students and staff from all four of our academies. This year's event takes place on November 7th at 5:30 pm. We look forward to meeting all of our Future Vikings!
The deadline for senior photos has passed. Any senior who would still like to schedule a studio session may contact Leonards.com. Sessions are only available at the studio in Tampa. Cap and Gown photos will take place on campus in February.
Stay Connected with the Pinellas County Schools App
Pinellas County Schools is helping parents and students stay connected to their school with the Pinellas County Schools App. The app, developed by Focus, helps families access student information on their cellphones and mobile devices. Parents and students can still use the Focus website on desktop computers, but the app is designed to work better with mobile devices.
Parents and students receive real-time notifications of grades, attendance, upcoming assignments and test scores. App users are also able to view school district news, Facebook posts and school messages. Links to the student calendar, school menus, school bell times, family engagement opportunities and transportation info are also available.
