• Welcome swimmers, divers, & parents!

    Dear Swimmers and Divers,
I hope you’re all enjoying a fun and relaxing start to your summer! As we look ahead to the upcoming high school swim season, I wanted to reach out to both returning athletes and those new to the team with some important information.
Our season officially begins on Monday, August 4th, which is one week before school resumes. We will jump right into both dryland and swim tryouts on the first day, so it’s essential that all athletes come prepared.
Before participating in practice, each athlete must complete the required paperwork. Details and instructions regarding these forms will be communicated via email by our booster president, Mrs. Mandy Becker. Please be sure to check your email and complete all necessary requirements ahead of time.
To help ensure a successful start to the season, I strongly encourage all athletes to stay active this summer—ideally by participating in a swim program—to maintain good aerobic conditioning. Being physically prepared, well-hydrated, and ready to work on Day 1 will make a big difference in your performance and help you get the most out of our first week.  Daily practice the first week will be 2:15 to 5:00 pm, please come prepared with both swimming and dryland attire.  The team is expected to participate in PHU practices the first week, if you are part of a year-round club program, you are welcome to attend those practices beginning week 2, August 11th.
I’m excited to see everyone soon and to kick off another great season together at Palm Harbor University High School!
