• 2023 Powder Puff Information

    PowderPuff

     

    Please read the information carefully as by registering to participate you agree to the following rules and procedures.

    Players/coaches/cheerleaders must agree to participate in 2 mandatory practices Monday, September 18th, and Tuesday, September 19th 2:30 pm-4 pm, and the game. The game is September 20th, 6-8:30 pm on PHUHS fields -participants arrive at 5:15.  

    Game 1: Seniors v. Sophomores Game 2: Freshmen v. juniors Game 3: winners’ game 1 & 2 Game 4: losers’ game 1& 2

    Team colors:  9th-white  10th- grey         11th maroon      12th navy

     

    PLAYERS

    There is a maximum of 30 players per grade level- the first 30 per grade level to complete all the required paperwork and payment. Coaches will try to get all the players on the field to play, but there is no guarantee of an amount of playing time.

    Registration fee includes a team uniform (shirt) in grade level color with the 2023 Powder Puff FB logo on the front and the player's last name/ number on the back. Player numbers are randomly assigned. The player provides black shorts.

     

    Player Required paperwork:

    -Payment of $4 or $7 school insurance

    -Completion and verification of eligibility email: Complete online athletic clearance including Dr. physical/school insurance and concussion videos/certificates. https://www.pcsb.org/Domain/12709

    - All this data will be electronically filed with the school’s athletic department for review. When the student has been cleared for participation, an email notification will be sent.

    - Please print the “Cleared for Participation” email and turn it in with your behavior contract.

    -Powderpuff permission/behavior contract completed and signed by parents

    -Player fee $30 

    Bring the required paperwork listed above and check (made out to PHUHS) or cash for $30 to 4-204 before (7-7:15 am) the beginning of both lunches or after school (2-2:30 pm) August 14th – August 25th. Each Player can only sign up for themselves in person as the money has to be signed for and all paperwork approved. Please do not interrupt classes in progress.

     

    COACHES and HYPE SQUAD

    Each grade level can have up to 10 Hype Squad members and 4 coaches.

    Powderpuff permission form signed by parents

    Coach/Hype Squad members' registration fee is $20

    Registration fee includes a team uniform shirt in grade level color with the 2023 powder puff FB logo on the front and COACH or HYPE SQUAD on the back.

    Game Tickets:

    All fans MUST purchase a game entrance ticket online via Gofan.co. PCS/FHSAA Athletic Tickets/Passes

    WILL NOT be accepted as this is a fundraiser for the student community.
