• Interested in the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions (CWMP)?
We’re excited you’re considering the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions at Palm Harbor University High School! If you’re a current 8th grade student and want to see what it’s like to be part of our nationally recognized medical magnet, we invite you to participate in our Shadowing Tour Experience.
This unique opportunity lets you spend part of the school day exploring CWMP classrooms, checking out our electives, and touring our beautiful campus – all while being guided by one of our current CWMP student leaders.
Due to high demand last year, we’re expanding our shadowing window to include October and November 2025. Applications will begin to be reviewed in September, and appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Time slots are limited, so early applications are encouraged!
    Please note:
    • Shadowing is open to 8th grade students who are zoned for one of the following high schools: Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Palm Harbor, or Tarpon Springs.
    • Tours will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting October 7, 2025.
    • Tour times are either 7:15–9:05 a.m. or 10:00–11:20 a.m.
Be sure to include any conflicts (field trips, absences, etc.) on your application so we can do our best to accommodate your schedule.
    • All students must follow the Pinellas County Schools dress code.
👉 Ready to apply? Link will be available in September
Still have questions? Feel free to reach out to our IB Secretary for support.
And don’t forget to mark your calendar for Discovery Night on September 16, 2025 from 6–8 p.m. in the PHUHS Theater. It’s a great chance for students and families to meet staff, explore our campus, and learn more about what makes CWMP so special. See you there!
