Model United Nations Club
Thank you for your interest in the Dunedin High School Model United Nations Club. This exciting organization will provide students with opportunities to engage in public speaking, debate, research, resolution writing activities, and attending local and/or regional Model UN conferences where students can interact with Model UN delegates from other high schools.
Participation in Model United Nations will require extra work (researching, writing, collaborating, debating, and preparing for conferences) and will require a commitment from students to maintain at least a passing grade in all classes and no disciplinary referrals that result in In-School or Out-of-School Suspensions. Failure to comply with these standards may result in removal from the Model United Nations Club.
Meetings will be held once a week. In addition, Dunedin High School Model United Nations may create a Canvas page that will be used for regular communications regarding Model United Nations activities. Any changes to the meeting schedule will be posted to this page.
We encourage students from all grade levels to join this growing tradition at Dunedin High School. For more information about Model United Nations, please visit the Foundations for Leadership website at https://www.fflmun.org/. If you would like to become a member of Model United Nations, please see Mr. Moore in Building 12, Room 2. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Moore at mooremal@pcsb.org.
