There will be a girls' wrestling team meeting today at lunch in room 6-03.
We want to wish our football team good luck tonight. They travel to take on our neighborhood rival, Clearwater High School. Kick off is at 7:30. If you want to purchase a ticket, go to gofan.co and for your school you will have to search for Clearwater.
Congratulations to our Girls golf team for their victory against Anclote High School yesterday. Hailey Talley carded the lowest score of the day and Anna Patterson sank a long par putt on the final hole to seal the win. The ladies tee it up on Monday at Bardmoor against Osceola High School and Tarpon High School.
Next week, all 9th and 10th graders will be taking the PSAT. In your English and math classes this week, you should have viewed a brief video explaining what the PSAT is and why to take it seriously. A copy of the presentation is attached to the announcements if you were not able to view it. All 9th grade students with last names “A” through “J-O” will go to the media center Monday to test. All 9th graders with last names “J-U” through “Z” will test on Tuesday. When you download the video, click on Play from Beginning and turn your volume on.
Seniors AND Juniors, you can join The University of Central Florida admissions presentation on Monday at 10:30 in Room 15-5. UCF is located in central Florida and is the largest university in Florida with over 70,000 students and offers over 240 degreed programs. Juniors and seniors wanting to attend must register before Monday. register here
Countryside High School is hosting their 15th Annual North Pinellas County College & Career Fair on Monday from 6-7:30 with exhibitors from across the county, state, and nation. This is the annual FREE event for students, parents or guardians, and the public. Attendees can talk with many exhibitors to get free information from college administrators, vocational schools, major employers, military recruiters, and more.
The College & Career Center is open during lunch on Mondays to assist students working on college and scholarship applications or with other college & career questions. A special “Completing the SSAR” workshop for seniors completing college applications will be held during lunch next Friday, October 6th.
If you are interested in the STEAM after school program, it officially begins next Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 in Room 15-5. Don’t forget that you need to fill out an application to join.
