NEW Junior Achievement 3DE Instructional Model
-
Dunedin High launched this innovative high school career academy program in 2020. A joint venture between PCS, Junior Achievement and the business community, 3DE accelerates student engagement and academic outcomes in traditional public high schools.
3DE is a joint venture between PCS, Junior Achievement and the business community. The program brings real-world connectivity into the everyday academic experience to increase student engagement, strengthen comprehension, build critical thinking and accelerate academic performance. Local business partnerships provide relevant experiences geared towards entrepreneurial thinking, project- and problem-based learning and authentic workplace experiences.
Students in the program will have opportunities to explore a wide variety of careers, participate in internships and interact with business professionals, so that by the time they graduate they will have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to be prepared for college, career and life.
