High School Application Areas

  •

While many programs are available to students who live anywhere in the county, several programs have designated application areas defined by school zones.

The North County (N) Application Area serves students zoned for Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Palm Harbor University and Tarpon Springs high schools.

The Mid County (M) Application Area serves students zoned for Clearwater, Dixie Hollins, Largo, Pinellas Park and Seminole high schools.

The South County (S) Application Area serves the students zoned for Boca Ciega, Gibbs, Lakewood, Northeast and St. Petersburg high schools.

These schools have unique application areas:

Center for Wellness and Medical Professions Programs

    • Students who live north of State Road 60/Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard may only apply to the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions program at Palm Harbor University High.
    • Students who live south of Ulmerton Road may only apply to the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions at Boca Ciega High.
    • Students who live south of State Road 60/Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and north of Ulmerton Road may apply to either of the Center for Wellness programs but not both.

Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Programs

    • The North County program, located at Tarpon Springs High, is for students zoned for Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Palm Harbor University and Tarpon Springs high schools.
    • The Mid County program, located at Clearwater High, is for students zoned for Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park and Seminole high schools.
    • The South County program, located at Dixie Hollins High, is for students zoned for Boca Ciega, Dixie Hollins, Gibbs, Lakewood, Northeast and St. Petersburg high schools.
Programs without a North (N), Mid (M) or South (S) county designation accept applicants from anywhere in the county.
