PK3 Program for 2026-2027

Prekindergarten 3 is a program that enhances language and communication skills and supports cognitive, physical and social-emotional development. 

PK3 (For 3-Year-Olds)  How to apply for PK3

• For children who are 3 years old on or before September 1
• Encourages creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction
• Integrates academic concepts through hands-on activities
• Daily routines that build confidence and independence
• Programs available at most elementary schools across Pinellas County
• Full school day tuition-based program
• On-site before and after-school care available through community partners

PK3 tuition at elementary school sites will be $140.00/week. PK3 tuition at the Little Packers program will be $175.00/week. 

• There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $100.00 due at the time of enrollment. The only sites that will not require a registration fee are Campbell Park Elementary, Fairmount Park Elementary, Kings Highway Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, Maximo Elementary and Melrose Elementary.
• Free full-day PK3 is provided at six sites. Tuition and registration are free at these sites. See schools listed in orange on the table below.
• Full-day PK3 will be discounted at elementary school sites for students that have a parent and/or legal guardian who is a full-time benefit eligible PCS employee. Our Employee and Community Preschool site at Largo High School will also offer a discount for students that have a parent and/or legal guardian who is a full-time benefit eligible PCS employee. The PCS employee discounted rate will be $70.00/week at elementary school sites and $100.00/week at Largo High School.
