  • PreK3 Registration

    Due to school closures related to COVID-19, the registration process for PreK3 has been revised in order to follow CDC guidance.  If you accepted a seat at a school for PreK3 during the initial registration period, there are two ways to start the registration process and secure your child’s seat.

     

    1. Complete Pinellas County Schools registration form. Beginning Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 10, fax or email the completed form to the Student Assignment Office. Fax your form to 727-588-5171 or email your form to studentassignment@pcsb.org. You will be contacted when your child has been enrolled.

     

    OR

     

    1. 2. Call the Student Assignment Office at 727-588-6210 beginning Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 10 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You will be asked to complete a Pinellas County Schools registration form You will be able to have Student Assignment complete the form by providing information over the phone or you can submit your completed form by fax or email. Fax your form to 727-588-5171 or email your form to studentassignment@pcsb.org. You will be contacted when your child has been enrolled.

  • Pre-K 3 Application Period for the 2020-21 School Year

    Jan. 20 to Jan. 31, 2020

    Apply during the Application Period at reservation.pcsb.org.

     

    PreK3

    Prekindergarten 3 is for children who are 3 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year in which they are enrolling.
     
    Children spend a full day in a safe and nurturing environment. Pre-K 3 is designed to enhance language and communication skills, and support cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
     
    Guided by the Florida Learning and Developmental Standards, Pre-K 3 provides activities in literacy, language, science, social studies, math, health and safety, art and music.

     
    Classes generally have 14 students and are staffed with a certified teacher and one or two associates. Classes are blended to include students with exceptional student education services.

    Tuition for the 2020-21 school year: $75 per week plus a non-refundable registration fee of $75.00 that is applied to tuition. At select locations, the Pre-K 3 program is supported with Title I funding. Qualifying families at Title I schools do not pay tuition.

    How to Register

    Please note that Pre-K 3 programs have limited availability.
     

    1. Get Your PCS User ID and Password
    Go to any district school to obtain your user ID and password if you don’t have one for another child. Make sure to bring your government issued ID.

    2. Apply online for a Pre-K 3 Seat Jan. 20- Jan. 31, 2020
    Visit reservation.pcsb.org during the application period. Choose up to three sites. School zone map.

    3. View the Results of Your Application and Accept an Invitation beginning Feb. 24, 2020
    Log back on to reservation.pcsb.org to find out if your application was selected. Accept an invitation or decline an invitation and remain on waitlists for other sites. If you fail to accept an invitation during this period, the invitation will be void. 
     
    4. Go to Your Assigned School to Enroll March 23-April 3, 2020
    Bring your registration fee and the following documents:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Proof of Residency (2 forms of documentation required)
    • Florida Certificate of Immunization
    • Physical examination certificate

     

    The school year runs from August 12, 2019 – May 27, 2021
