Pinellas County Schools offers a variety of summer learning opportunities for students in prekindergarten through 12th grade. Summer programs for 2021 are filling up quickly. Click the links below for more information.
All Summer Camps and Summer Bridge will be held in accordance with Pinellas County Schools health and safety protocols.
Prepares children for kindergarten,
through a fun, engaging and challenging
Students participate in
project-based activities and
individualized instruction to
prevent summer learning losses.
Four-week program will include academic
enrichment, creative hands-on projects,
character and social development and weekly
field trips for students in grades 3-5.
Virtual prep courses to ensure that middle school students are successful in their algebra and geometry courses next school year. Accelerated course options include: Algebra 1 and Geometry. Students will work at their own pace with support from a PCS certified math teacher.
Provides students with prescriptive
assistance and practice to close gaps
in Algebra skills or content knowledge
to prepare them to pass the Algebra 1 EOC.
For high school students who need
to recover Algebra 1, Algebra 1A
or Algebra 1B credits.

High School / College Prep
Students participating in Elevating Excellence Summer Seminars (grades 10-12) will explore college-going topics like finding a best-fit college, paying for college, preparing for the SAT, and preparing for the college application and the college entrance essay.
Journeys in Journalism
Discover how to create your very own podcast. Students in grades 5-12 can join John Hopkins’ Center for Communications, Journalism and Multimedia staff to develop narratives, audio storytelling tips, and how to edit audio to produce a podcast.
