Planning for Progress: Help Shape the Future of Pinellas County Schools

  • Pinellas County Schools invites you to attend a Planning for Progress community meeting in your area. As the number of school-age children in Pinellas County has declined over the past decade, the district is engaging the community to help plan for the future of our schools.

Your input is essential. These meetings will give families, staff, and community members the opportunity to share ideas and feedback on how our district can best serve students in the years ahead.

    What We’ll Discuss

During the meetings, district leaders will present current data and gather community input on key topics, including:

    • Population trends and future enrollment projections
    • School building utilization and facility planning
    • New school programming and innovative learning opportunities
    • Possible new grade configurations, school consolidations, or closures
