Important News about Instructional Certification
Teacher Notifications - Certification will be sending out teacher notifications, Monday, November 6, 2020. The deadline to return the signed copy is the end of the day, Friday, November 13, 2020 to email@example.com.
Florida Department of Education Web Portal - Effective December 1, 2017, all State Educator Certification Applications, Renewals, and Additions must be submitted electronically via the FLDOE's web portal.
Renewal and Reinstatement of a Professional Certificate. - Educators whose application for certificate renewal with a beginning validity date of July 1, 2020. Rule 6A-4.0051
Florida House Bill 887 Beginning with the 2020/2021 school year, HB 887, requires certified teachers who provide reading interventions under a school district's K-12 comprehensive reading plan to be certified or endorsed in reading. 6A-6.053 K-12 Comprehensive Reading Plan.
