The Facilities Design & Construction (FD&C) department is responsible for the design and management of construction, remodeling and renovation projects at the school district's educational and support facilities. Our department participates in development of the district's Facility Assessment and Capital Improvement Plan and project budgeting. We are also responsible for project permitting and operate the Walter Pownall Service Center's document center.
Our mission is to manage the design and construction of safe, sustainable and energy efficient facilities that enrich the creative learning and teaching environment for our students and staff.
