Leadership Center - New Building
Project Information:

Completion: July 2025
Construction/Renovation of:
The project includes new construction of a 21st century Leadership Center to enhance the growth of working professionals within the district and the surrounding community. The project’s goal is to construct a new multi-use facility.
New construction will include:
- New construction of a 14,690 square foot multi-use facility
- Open concept plan that incorporates:
- Large training room that could also host community events
- Small break out rooms adjacent to the large training room
- Serving kitchen area
- Use of photovoltaic panels is highly anticipated
- New asphalt parking lot for up to 50 cars and grass parking for overflow
Demolition will include:
- Removal of existing 7,400 sq. ft. Center for Professional Education Building
- Removal of existing 2,000 sq. ft. Ancillary Building
Project Status:
Week of 5/16/25
- Continuing grading and adding sub-base for parking lot, fire hydrant flush test, grade and form sidewalks, pour off-site sidewalk and paint DCDA
- Preparing east plaza for concrete pour
- Continuing with drywall finish
- Continuing wood wall panel lay out and install acoustical ceiling panel supports
- Continuing installing and programming HVAC controls and VAVs as well as installing diffusers
- Continuing tile and grout in men's restroom
- Installing flashing around steel plates for guard rails at the high roof
- Continuing interior painting
