Leadership Center - New Building
Project Information:

Project Budget: $15,400 million
Start Date: January 2024
Completion: July 2025
Construction/Renovation of:
The project includes new construction of a 21st century Leadership Center to enhance the growth of working professionals within the district and the surrounding community. The project’s goal is to construct a new multi-use facility.
New construction will include:
- New construction of a 14,690 square foot multi-use facility
- Open concept plan that incorporates:
- Large training room that could also host community events
- Small break out rooms adjacent to the large training room
- Serving kitchen area
- Use of photovoltaic panels is highly anticipated
- New asphalt parking lot for up to 50 cars and grass parking for overflow
Demolition will include:
- Removal of existing 7,400 sq. ft. Center for Professional Education Building
- Removal of existing 2,000 sq. ft. Ancillary Building
Project Status:
Week of 3/21/25
- Rough-in corridor lights, cameras, lighting controls and soffits in the breakout and staff developement rooms
- Continuing installation of folding partitions motors and tracks
- Installation of hollow metal door frames
- Continuing installation of window mullions
- Installation of monument sign support
- Continuing framing and drywall installation
- Continuing installation of water lines
- Continuing installation of labels on ductwork and conduit controls in the mechanical room
- Painting walls in the mechanical, electrical and data rooms
