Construction/Renovation of:

The project includes new construction of a 21st century Leadership Center to enhance the growth of working professionals within the district and the surrounding community. The project’s goal is to construct a new multi-use facility.                                 

New construction will include:

• New construction of a 14,690 square foot multi-use facility
• Open concept plan that incorporates:
• Large training room that could also host community events
• Small break out rooms adjacent to the large training room
• Serving kitchen area
• Use of photovoltaic panels is highly anticipated
• New asphalt parking lot for up to 50 cars and grass parking for overflow

Demolition will include:

• Removal of existing 7,400 sq. ft. Center for Professional Education Building
• Removal of existing 2,000 sq. ft. Ancillary Building

Project Status:

Week of 6/6/25

• Installing emergency drivers for light fixtures, fire alarm devices, fixtures in the audiovisual and storage rooms and connecting power for water coolers
• Continuing site grading at the north side of the building
• Installing brick at the stairs and the east plaza
• Installing ceiling track in the corridor and continuing the layout for the wood wall panels
• Installing plumbing fixtures in restrooms, water coolers and water heater
• Completed metal coping at roof ladders
• Completed building exterior painting and continuing interior painting
