Mural Painting Camp - Middle & High

Working side-by-side with a locally renown professional artist to produce public art is amazing experience for anyone. Students in this camp will get to do just that by collaborating with each other and the artist on coming up with an idea and going through the mural-making process to completion.
Dates of Program and Locations:
- July 17-20 at Highpoint Elementary
- July 24-27 at Meadowlawn Middle
Program Hours: 8:30am - 2:30pm
Grade Levels: Incoming 6th - 9th grade students

Selection Process: The camp is free on a first come first served basis until all spaces are filled for registered and accepted students enrolled in a Pinellas County District Public school.
Program Cost: The camp is free to registered and accepted students enrolled in a Pinellas County District school- thanks to the Referendum! Referendum funds provide the equipment and supplies needed.
Transportation Provided: Transportation is not provided and must be arranged by the student’s family.

Additional Information: Several certified, experienced and passionate Pinellas County Schools arts educators with a professional Mural artist will be teaching and working with all of the students. Students will experience the public art process from idea generation to completion with the endgoal of the students producing quality work in the form of a collaborative mural painted on a Pinellas County School campus.
