Lew Williams Center for Early Learning

  • lew williams centerNamed in honor of the late Pinellas County school  Board member Lew Williams, The Lew Williams Center for Early Learning partners with many community agencies to fulfill his dream of quality early childhood education for all children. The center is located on the campus of Pinellas Technical College, St. Petersburg.

    The center's eight classrooms are designed to provide high-quality early childhood education to children, ages 1 to 4.  The center features degreed teachers, ongoing student assessment, dental, vision and hearing screenings, and breakfast, lunch and snacks served in family-style settings. Families will receive continual child progress updates, access to numerous community resources, and opportunities to volunteer and participate in center activities.


    Private paying families, families who qualify for Early Learning Coalition scholarships, and children enrolled in Head Start/Early Head Start are eligible to apply.

    The Lew Williams Center for Early Learning is a partnership between Pinellas County Schools and the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County, Lutheran Services Florida, Pinellas County License Board, R’Club, and St. Petersburg College.
