How to Apply for the 2025-2026 School Year

  • Pinellas County Residents:

    Follow these three steps to apply to District Application Programs for the 2025-2026 School Year:

    Step 1: Get a Portal I.D. and Passworddap mom

    • If you do not already have a User ID and password, go to https://focus.pcsb.org and create an account.  You will need an email address to set up and verify your account. 
    • Only one User ID and password is needed per family.

     

    Step 2: Link Your Focus Parent Portal Account to Your Child

     

    Step 3:  Make a Late Application Starting April 2, 2025

    • Log on to the Focus Parent Portal.
    • Current Students:  Look for and select the drop down menu next to your child's name. 
    • Click "Late District Application Program 2025" link

     

    • New Students:
    • Click the "Forms" link on the left-side menu.
    • Complete the application.  
    • At the end, it will allow you to make a DAP only application. 

     

    • Follow the instructions to apply for up to five magnet or fundamental programs.

     

    Non-Pinellas County residents are not able to apply using the Student Reservation System.  A Special Assignment Permit must be completed for the 2025-2026 school year.

     

    Important Reminder: Non-PCS students must submit all program eligibility documentation to the Program Coordinator of the Center for Gifted Studies or high school Cambridge AICE or IB Program to which they are applying.
