Officer Andrew “Blue” Bellucci is a 12-year veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was a Boatswain Mate, Small Boat Coxswain, on the 47-foot, 41-foot, 28-foot, 25-foot, and RHI vessels. He served as a certified Federal Law Enforcement Boarding Officer, Rescue Swimmer, and Ships Firefighter.
Officer Bellucci was named Coast Guardsman of the Year for the Fort Myers Beach Coast Guard Station in 2004. He was stationed in Miami, Fort Myers Beach and Sand Key. He was awarded several Coast Guard Achievement Medals, several Letters of Commendations, the 9/11 Service Medal, the Presidents Commendation Ribbon, Special Operations Ribbons, a Sea Service Ribbon, and Expert Pistol and Expert Rifle awards.
Officer Bellucci is an 11-year veteran of law enforcement. He started his career with the Clearwater Police Department in 2006 after he graduated from St. Petersburg College PRC Class #158. A graduate of Fairport High School, Officer Bellucci studied Environmental Sciences at North County Community College in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York.
During his time with the Clearwater Police Department, Officer Bellucci served in the Patrol Division for five years. He was named Officer of the Month by the Fraternal Order of Police in 2008. Officer Bellucci was very active in the department’s Honor Guard Unit and attended Police Funerals all over the state of Florida and Washington, D.C. Officer Bellucci served as one of the armorers for the department’s pistols, rifles and shotguns. Officer Bellucci served in the department's Street Crimes Unit for five years.
Officer Bellucci opened his own Outdoor Fitness Company called Camp Gladiator in 2014 and was named an Area Director and Primary Trainer for 6 years.
When not on patrol, Officer Bellucci is an active family man who has five children. Officer Bellucci is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the mountains and sunsets. He is an avid runner and has completed seven full marathons, 50 half marathons and countless 15Ks,10Ks and 5Ks. Officer Bellucci loves to travel and enjoys good food. He is a man of faith, a coach and a cancer survivor.
