Officer Maurice Blossom is a product of Pinellas County. Officer Blossom attended West Central Elementary, Disston Middle and a graduate of Boca Ciega High School. Officer Blossom is a U.S. Army veteran who served 3 years of active duty and 8 years in the reserves.
Officer Blossom began his law enforcement career from 1985 to 2015 with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy. Officer Blossom joined Pinellas County Schools Police as a School Safety Officer from July 2018 to 2023. In October 2023, Officer Blossom transitioned over to become a School Resource Officer.
Officer Blossom is married with a daughter and one granddaughter.
