Anthony Gentile
Officer Anthony Gentile has been a Pinellas County resident since 1972. He attended Oakhurst Elementary and Seminole Middle schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1980. He studied business at St. Petersburg College before joining the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office in 1986.
During his 25-year career at the Sheriff’s Office, Officer Gentile served as a Field Training Officer, S.W.A.T. team member and a detective, in both the Narcotics and Criminal Intelligence divisions. During his 12 years in the Criminal Intelligence Division, Officer Gentile studied domestic extremism and street gang identification and recognition.
Officer Gentile has been married to his wife, Susan, for 17 years, and has one daughter who attends Pinellas County Schools. Officer Gentile joined the Pinellas Schools Police in August 2016.
