Officer Daniel Sosa-Jones moved to the Pinellas County area when just 6 month old.  He has lived in the Pinellas County area ever since.  He attended Skyview and Perkins Elementary, Pinellas Park Middle School and Gibbs Senior High School. 

Officer Sosa Jones began a career in law enforcement by joining the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Detention and Corrections section in 1999.  He was assigned to the FTO Program, the Corrections Response Team, and appointed the rank of Corporal.  In 2007 Ofc. Sosa-Jones was given the opportunity to serve the City of Pinellas Park as a Patrol Officer where he worked in the Patrol section and then was assigned to the Community policing section.  He retired from Pinellas Park PD after serving for 10 years with the city.   

Officer Sosa-Jones joined the Pinellas County Schools Police Department in 2017. Officer Sosa-Jones is married and has 4 sons and 1 daughter.
