2024-2025 Student Calendar

  • Hurricane Makeup Day Information 
    The School Board approved updates to the instructional calendar. The changes ensure that students meet state requirements for instructional time. The new schedule addresses time lost due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Students will attend school on Jan. 6, 2025, which was a designated makeup day, and Feb. 17, 2025, which will be a hurricane makeup day. In addition, the last day of school for students, May 29, 2025, will change from an early-release day to a full day of instruction. The School Board also agreed to waive first semester exams to add four days of instruction back to the calendar. The amended Instructional Calendar was recommended based on input from multiple stakeholder groups.

    Sept. 2, 2024: Labor Day holiday – No school for students
    Sept. 23, 2024: No school for students.

    Thanksgiving holiday week – No school for students.

    Winter holidays –  No school for students
    Jan. 6, 2025: School in Session – Hurricane Makeup Day
    Jan. 7, 2025: Second semester begins
    Jan. 20, 2025: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – No school for students
    Feb. 17, 2025: School in Session – Hurricane Makeup Day
    Mar. 14, 2025: End of third quarter
    Mar. 17, 2025 -
    Mar. 21, 2025:    		 Spring holidays – No school for students.
    Apr. 18, 2025: No school for students.  
    Apr. 21, 2025: No school for students.
    May 26, 2025: Memorial Day holiday –  No school for students.
    May 29, 2025: End of fourth quarter. The last day for all students will change from an early-release day to a full day.
