District Audit Reports

  • By State Statute, the district must undergo an audit of its financial statements annually. The audit is conducted by the Office of the Auditor General of the State of Florida every three years. In the two interim years, the district is audited by a private certified public accounting firm under the guidelines of the Auditor General. In addition to financial audits, the Auditor General also performs an Operational and Compliance Audit. Listed below are links to these audits:

  • In addition to the financial and operational audits, the district's investment portfolio is audited annually by a private certified public accounting firm. Also, in an effort to evaluate the district's exposure to acts of fraud, an independent certified public accounting firm was engaged to perform a forensic audit of the district's financial records for a two year period.
