Food and Nutrition Department
Mission Statement: Providing Energy for Education with pride, integrity and dedication. The Pinellas County School District participates in the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program. Dinner is also available in select schools for students enrolled in afterschool programs. Nutritious meals, which include a variety of hot and cold options, are served every school day. All meals served meet the patterns established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The Food and Nutrition Department is experiencing occasional menu substitutions from our vendors. We are working closely with our partners to secure the food needed to provide our posted menus, however last minute changes may occur. We regret the uncertainty this creates for our families and will continue to provide the highest quality meals and service to our students. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
