    Aug. 24, 2020: All schools open. All Pre-k and postsecondary schools’ classes begin
    Sept. 7, 2020:  Labor Day holiday – No school for students
    Oct. 23, 2020:  End of first quarter
    Oct. 26, 2020: No school for students. (a) *Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Nov. 23, 2020 -
    Nov. 27, 2020:     

    Thanksgiving holiday week – No school for students. (a) *Possible hurricane make-up day)

    Dec. 21, 2020 -
    Jan. 1, 2021:  

    Winter holidays - No school for students
    Jan. 15, 2021:   End of first semester
    Jan. 18, 2021:  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday - No school for students
    Jan. 19, 2021:  No school for students. (a) Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Jan. 20, 2021:  Second semester begins
    Feb. 15, 2021 Non-student day for 198- and 235-day instructional personnel.
    Mar. 15, 2021 -
    Mar. 19, 2021:    		 Spring holidays – No school for students.
    Mar. 31, 2021: End of third quarter
    Apr. 1, 2021:  No school for students. (a) Possible hurricane make-up day)
    Apr. 2, 2021:  No school for students.
    May 31, 2021: Memorial Day holiday - No school for students.
    June 9, 2021: Last day for all students (with the exception of Adult students at the Postsecondary Centers). Students will be released two hours early.
     
     

    (a) Hurricane make-up days

     

    Make up 1 day - October 26, 2020*

    Make up 2 days - October 26, 2020 and January 19, 2021

    Make up 3 days - October 26, 2020, January 19, 2021 and April 1, 2021

    Make up 4 days  - October 26, 2020, November 23, 2020, November 24, 2020 and January 19, 2021

     *If hurricane occurs after October 26, 2020, then the one day make up day will be January 19, 2021.
