Stephanie Hornick

Ms. Stephanie Hornick joined the Middle School Teaching and Learning team in 2022 as the Middle School Science Specialist.

She began her career in Pinellas County Schools as a middle school science teacher in 2014. She has also served as the magnet coordinator for an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program within the district. Throughout her time with PCS, she has served as department chair, led various committees and student events, was named teacher of the year at her school site, and led the work to earn the Magnet Schools of America School of Distinction award for her school. Stephanie has been involved with districtwide professional development opportunities and programs, including new teacher classroom management strategies, courses through the Transition to Teaching (TTT) program, and new teacher training through Embrace Pinellas. Stephanie holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Education from St. Francis University.
