Michelle Anderson

Michelle began her career in Pinellas County as a middle school social studies teacher in 2002. Throughout her time there she taught geography, Florida history, and U.S. history. She has served as department chair, National History Day school coordinator, and was named the Pinellas County National History Day Teacher of the Year in 2010. Other work within the district includes representing middle school education in the Florida Association of School Administrators development team for a free U.S. History course in iTunes U for teachers, students, and parents, including a section for English Language Learners in 2015. Michelle holds two degrees from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts in History, and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
