Donna Crosby

Donna Crosby Donna Crosby, Secretary II for PreK-12 Performing Arts, was named the Pinellas County Schools 2013-14 Support Employee of the Year during a celebratory breakfast at Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater.

 
"It's such an honor," Crosby said. "I love coming to work everyday. I love working with (Performing Arts Supervisor) Jeanne Reynolds, and I love working with the kids as much as possible."

 

"Ms. Crosby's ability to create positive relationships is second to none. There may not be another employee in the district who is a more effective ambassador for Pinellas County Schools than Ms. Crosby," said PreK-12 Performing Arts Specialist Jeanne Reynolds. " Ms. Crosby's naturally engaging personality in combination with her work ethic, knowledge and customer focus make her a model for all employees."

 
"Donna is an invaluable employee to the more than 200 teachers in the Performing Arts department," wrote Lisa Lehmann, elementary music teacher and president of the Pinellas County Music Educators Association. "Her outstanding skills in organization and communication are truly gifted. She is clear and thorough in her communications to us and timely in responding to our personal requests."

 
Crosby was chosen among the three category winners. She won the Limited Involvement with Students category.

• Kerry Afflitto, a Clerk II at Bayside High School, won the Direct Involvement with Students category.

This year was the 20th year that Achieva Credit Union sponsored the breakfast celebration. Achieva provided each finalist with $100 and each category winner with $200. Achieva also provided a $500 cash prize to Crosby as the overall winner.
