Career Academies Recognized as Academies of Distinction
The School Board and the Stavros Career Education Board (SCEB) recognize five academies for meeting or exceeding the academy operational standards. All of the academies are performing at an extremely high level and are to be commended for their dedication to preparing students for success after graduation. These awards come with monetary rewards for the Academy. The career and technical education department provides $4000 for program supplies, field trip and/or equipment and SCEB member DiTEK provided an additional $3000 for any program related expense.
