Career Academies

What is a Career Academy?
Career Academies are four year programs designed to blend a student's required academic courses with the career technical program of the academy.- National/industry certifications
- Pinellas Technical College (PTC), a two-year college, or university.
- Entry into their chosen career.
- Bright Futures/Gold Seal scholarships.
There is no minimum GPA required for admission to a Career Academy; however, a student's discipline record must not reflect any serious misconduct. Students enrolled in an academy must maintain a 2.0 GPA to remain in the academy.
