Middle School Health Education

  • In Pinellas County Schools Health Education is a requirement for grade seven students with no option to waive. This health course is a semester course taught by a certified health education teacher.  In addition to the required course, some schools offer sixth and/or eighth grade health education courses as electives.  Health education is also embedded in both the sixth and eighth grade Physical Education courses.
