The Pinellas County Jail is a cooperative program between the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida. Approximately 20 students certified as adults or direct filed to the adult courts are incarcerated at the Pinellas County Jail. The school board provides two classroom teachers and one paraprofessional. Additional support is provided by an itinerant Reading Coach, Technology Specialist, ESE and Educational Alternative Specialist.
