• The Florida Fine Arts Seal Program

On April 2, 2024, the Florida Seal of Fine Arts Program (HB 523) was unanimously passed by the state legislature and signed into law by the governor. This prestigious state-level honor celebrates high school graduates who have achieved outstanding benchmarks in fine arts coursework by awarding a special seal on their diplomas. To view the official language of this program, go here: Rule 6A-1.09952 Requirements for the Florida Seal of Fine Arts.

    Why is this important?

    • It celebrates artistry! It encourages you to develop exceptional skills and your personal voice in the performing or visual arts.
    • It recognizes unique talent! It honors the dedication and hard work you've put into excelling in the arts at graduation.
    • It boosts college and career applications! Having this seal on your diploma and resume can make your college and job applications stand out.

    How does it work?

    • Applications, progress tracking, and communication will be managed at your school in coordination with your fine arts teachers, school counselor, administrator, and the Performing Arts and Visual Arts Departments, ensuring a smooth and personalized process for you. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to shine and for your parents/guardians to see your artistic passion. We want to celebrate you, the next generation of artists!
