Could your child benefit from extra learning over the summer? Summer Bridge will prepare your child for maximum success next school year. Our Summer Bridge programs will be held on campus again this summer! Programming at all levels is being revamped, with elective options for middle school students. Childcare is available and bus transportation is available for eligible families. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Elementary Summer Bridge students will engage in an exciting, theme-based curriculum! Weekly themes ranging from The Thrills and Chills of Amusement Parks to Away We Go World Travelers and much more. Summer Bridge will connect science, reading, and mathematics concepts in fun, new ways. Reading and math lessons will tie to the theme and focus on concepts that are most critical to success in the upcoming grade

Registration for Summer VPK is underway
Pinellas County Schools offers a free full-day Summer VPK program. Students attend Summer VPK the summer before entering kindergarten. Summer VPK is only for children who did not attend VPK during the school year. The Summer VPK program is available at select elementary schools. Parents interested in the program can learn more at www.pcsb.org/summervpk or by calling 727-588-6513.

Attend an ESOL Summer Bridge Virtual Family Workshop
The ESOL department is planning a series of workshops to educate families of English learners about the importance of Summer Bridge programs. The workshops will include program highlights and details, step-by-step registration directions, and tips for translating and navigating the PCS website. The workshops, which will be presented in Spanish and English, will be offered multiple times at each level. Additional information and dates are available at www.pcsb.org/ESOLSBInfo.
