Attendance Awareness Month
-
September is Attendance Awareness Month
Pinellas County Schools is continuing its campaign to stress the importance of students showing up to school, on time, each day.
The district is collaborating with the Juvenile Welfare Board and other community groups. Schools will be displaying banners, posters and marquee messages to support the effort.
Here are fact sheets to help parents learn more about the importance of regular attendance and how to build a habit of good attendance with their children:
• Elementary School Fact Sheet
• Middle and High School Fact Sheet
