Mentors change the lives of thousands of Pinellas County students each week. Pinellas County Schools offers a variety of ways for caring adults to have a positive impact as mentors for students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Research has shown that mentoring helps students improve their grades, attendance, behavior, social interactions with adults, and outlook on school. 

New mentors must first be a registered volunteer with Pinellas County Schools. Volunteer Registration Form

Mentors will then receive one-hour mentor training. Mentor Workshop Registration

One-on-one mentoring sessions are designed to meet at least twice per month for 30 minutes on the student's lunch break.
