Camp Invention 2025: Discover! 

This summer, gifted and talented students will put their critical and creative thinking skills to the test as they explore the use of artifical intelligence in GPS at In Control^TM, special effects in the entertainment industry in Illusion Workshop^TM, discover the biology of claws, talons, and pincers, and build their very own functional claw machines in Claw Arcade^TM and unleash design thinking to create flippers and launchers  in Penguin Launch^TM! This camp is only available to students in Pinellas County Schools Gifted and Talented programs entering 3rd, 4th or 5th grade next fall.

Camp Invention 2025 will be held in 2 locations during the week of June 16-19, 2025 (Monday - Thursday).

Camp Invention 2025 is $75. Families with demonstrated need will be charged a reduced fee of $25. Demonstrated need is based on the student’s Free or Reduced Lunch eligibility status in the student’s Focus profile.

Please make sure you have your child's R2.D2 (computer login) or their 10 digit student ID before you begin. 

• February 19th: Application for camp lottery opens. Visit pcsb.org/summercamps
• March 7th: Application for camp lottery closes. 
• March 10th - March 21st:  Lottery held for camp seats.
• March 24th - 28th: If chosen in the application lottery, register and pay for Camp 2025 with link provided in email.
