- Call Student Assignment (588-6210) to reserve a seat at your close to home school.
- Once you have enrolled into your assigned school you will need to present a copy of your student's current Education Plan (EP) prior to being assigned to gifted classes.
- If you are looking for a seat at one of the Centers for Gifted Studies, please consult the District Application Programs webpage. You will also have to present a copy of your student’s EP prior to being accepted into the program.
Transfer Process for Students Coming From Out of State with Gifted Eligibility
Effective April 2017, students with gifted eligibility in another state are eligible for gifted services in Florida. Present a copy of your student's current Education Plan or comparable state-approved document upon enrollment at the new school. The Data Management Technician at the school should complete a transfer form and send it to Melissa Arof (arofm@pcsb.org). There will be a 10-day review period during which no services will be provided. After review, the eligible student will receive gifted services.
