    Chief Stelljes

The Pinellas County Schools Police Department is comprised of highly trained, specialized police officers who are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to the Pinellas County School District.  Our motto is "We are all about the kids".  We have School Resource Officers (SRO's) who on a daily basis provide professional compassionate "SERVICE" to our students, their families, school administrators, teachers and staff.  Each and every one of our SRO's is here because they want to be and because they genuinely care about their students.  As a result, they develop relationships with their students, they mentor and provide guidance, all in an effort to make a difference in their lives and assist them in being successful. There are many other Schools Police employees in support roles that also provide invaluable "SERVICE" to ensure a safe learning environment throughout the School District.  These employees include our staff assistant, our dispatchers in our communications center, Intrusion Systems Specialist for alarm monitoring and our investigations clerks in the Jessica Lunsford Act Office.
