Arthritis @ Work
On average, one in four American workers lives with arthritis. The pain they experience can be debilitating and make everyday tasks difficult if not impossible to do — both at home and at work. PCS has partnered with the Arthritis Foundation to provide our employees with FREE resources, articles, webinars, and other tools that focus specifically on arthritis.

District Wellness Webinars
2025-2026 District Wellness Webinars
PCS's district wellness team will be hosting live webinars each week on various topics. Below is the full list of webinars for this year. Employees must click on the webinar registration link of each webinar you'd like to attend to register for the webinar. Once you register, you will be able to download an event to add to your calendar.
Nutrition and EAP webinars will count as 1 component credit in PLN. Participants do not need to register through PLN. The PLN credits will be entered based off the attendance list of the live webinar. Employees will also receive Limeade points for attending a live webinar. Kickball League
The PCS Kickball league is open to all PCS employees and is completely free of charge to participate. You can join as an individual and be randomly placed on a team, or you can contact your worksite's Wellness Champion to see if they've formed a team for your worksite. Games will be played at two different locations throughout the county.
*Important Note* - Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene and Milton, the kickball league for 2025 has been canceled. In its place, a sand volleyball league will be held. Kickball will return in the 2025-2026 school year.

Preventative Screenings
AdventHealth Mobile Mammography
The Advent Health Mobile Mammography bus visits various PCS worksites throughout the school year and summer. All women over the age of 40 who have not received a screening mammogram within in the past year are eligible to participate.OnSpot Dermatology
OnSpot Dermatology provides skin cancer screenings on-site at various locations. The team is able to preform full dermatology proceedures including biopsys, freezings, lazers, etc. -
Quit Tobacco
Free Community Classes to Quit Smoking:
Free classes are now available throughout Pinellas County for any PCS employee, spouse, or adult family member!Any PCS employee, spouse, or family member (18 yrs or older) who is ready to quit tobacco can receive the tools and support needed to quit smoking for good.

Wellness Champions
The goal of the Be SMART Wellness Champion program is to be an extension of the district wellness program to bring onsite programs to each worksite. Wellness Champions are teachers, support staff and administrative staff who adopt healthier lifestyles for themselves and encourage others to do the same by holding a variety of programs, including fitness classes, seminars and biometric screenings.
